View Course Syllabus This 3 day course is intended for anyone wanting to use the e-fense Helix CD. This course is hands on and students will get a chance to understand the procedures and approach to volatile data collection & incident response using real world scenarios. The course will also focus on acquiring and analyzing live data from both Windows and UNIX. Helix is a bootable Linux forensics/incident response CD to assist the analyst in the collection, preservation, and analysis of evidentiary data. The forensics tools on the CDROM can support forensic activity on computers running all versions of Windows, Linux and Solaris systems. The CDROM has been copyrighted by e-fense.
